Assistance with feeding and subsequent cleanup may be necessary. Additionally, creating a shopping list and taking inventory of needed items is important.
Conducting light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment includes tasks like making beds, changing linens, laundering clothes, folding them, and storing them away. It also involves cleaning up after meals, taking stock of necessities, and managing household tasks.
Develop a comprehensive Care Plan that meets all requirements. Observe and document vital signs, maintain a detailed log of the patient's blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight, and report any changes in status or behavior to the family, while being prepared to respond to emergencies if necessary.
Experience in dementia care includes providing mental stimulation for patients through puzzles, word finds, games, coloring, matching, and more to sharpen the mind. Assistance with stroke rehabilitation is also offered through speech therapy.
